Common Questions
Which First Aid course do I need for my job in Gosnells?
Most workplaces in Western Australia require HLTAID011 Provide First Aid as a minimum. Childcare and education workers need HLTAID012. Construction sites with a designated First Aid officer should look at HLTAID014. If you are unsure which unit applies to your role, contact us before booking.
Is Thornlie Library also available as a session venue?
Yes. Sessions are also available at Thornlie Library on Connemara Drive. If that location is more convenient for you, see the Thornlie First Aid page for upcoming dates and booking details.
How does the blended learning format work?
You complete the online theory component at your own pace before your booked session. The practical session at Gosnells Library focuses on hands-on skills, scenario work, and individual assessment. This keeps in-person time focused and effective.
How often do I need to renew my First Aid certificate?
CPR is recommended to be renewed every 12 months in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. Full First Aid certification is recommended every 3 years, with CPR updated annually within that cycle.
