Empowering People Through Skills, Confidence & Real-World Readiness
My name is Britt Brennan. I’m an Empowerment-Focused First Aid Trainer & Employment Coach, a business founder, and a lifelong teacher at heart.
I believe real learning isn’t about ticking a box or sitting through yet another mandatory course.
It’s about walking away with confidence, clarity, and the ability to act when it matters most.
Whether it’s saving a life with First Aid, preparing for a new career, or rediscovering resilience after setbacks my work is about equipping people with the skills and belief that you are more capable than you think.
I was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in Surrey, BC before moving to Australia in 1998. Life hasn’t always been straightforward my family’s history here dates to convict times in the 1850s, and I’ve experienced firsthand the ups, downs, and resilience it takes to keep moving forward.
One of my most formative experiences was working alongside my grandmother Maxine in Nullagine, Pilbara. It was there I first encountered Indigenous culture and the strength of community lessons that continue to shape how I teach and connect with people today.
I also carry another truth with me: skills aren’t only built in classrooms. They’re forged in the real world in hardship, in survival, in perseverance. Setbacks sharpen problem-solving, rejection widens perspective, and struggles grow into leadership qualities. That’s why my approach is always trauma-aware, practical, and people-first.
I don’t believe in “just getting the certificate.”
Every class I deliver is about understanding the why behind First Aid not just memorising steps. Because when it comes to emergencies whether in a childcare centre, on a remote station, at a sporting field, or on a mine site confidence is what saves lives.
My students consistently tell me they’ve learned more in my courses than in any other training. They leave not only with a qualification, but with the belief they can step in and help when it matters most. That’s what I care about most: transforming self-doubt into quiet capability.
I also bring my broader training and experience into every session:
Bachelor of Health Science
Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
Cert IV in Mental Health
Currently studying a Diploma of Mental Health to integrate even deeper trauma-informed strategies into my programs.
Through REACHAU, I deliver accredited First Aid training across Western Australia, including:
HLTAID009 – Provide CPR
HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting
HLTAID013 – Provide First Aid in Remote or Isolated Settings
HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
I specialise in taking training out of sterile classrooms and into real environments stables, mine sites, childcare centres, community halls, and remote areas. Too often, large providers refuse to go to workplaces like these. I do. Because skills are best learned where they’ll be used.
Alongside First Aid training, I also run career development workshops, retreats, and employment coaching programs, especially for people who have been overlooked, long-term unemployed, or living in regional and remote communities. My mission is simple: help people uncover the strength they already have, then back it up with practical skills that open doors.
Empowerment: Helping people walk away with skills, confidence, and belief in themselves.
Community: Supporting regional, remote, and local communities often overlooked by larger providers.
Authenticity: Teaching in a way that’s real, practical, and trauma-informed because life doesn’t happen in straight lines.
Legacy: My goal is to create an environment of encouragement that lives on through my granddaughters and their children.
Emergencies don’t wait for the “right time.” Neither do opportunities. Both demand readiness.
I’m not interested in being the biggest provider. I’m committed to being the most impactful the trainer and coach who empowers people to walk away with skills that could change (or save) a life.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me around horses, with my granddaughters, or exploring the connection between resilience, mental health, and leadership. I’m introverted by nature, but when I teach or speak, I light up because teaching isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.
A personal favourite quote comes from one of my favourite shows, 12 Monkeys:
“The only failure is giving up.”
That philosophy has guided me through setbacks, career shifts, and the courage to build businesses that put people first. It’s also the message I share with every student: your strength is already in you training just gives you the tools to back it up.
I’ve built my work on a simple truth: real confidence saves lives. Whether I’m teaching CPR, supporting someone back into the workforce, or speaking to a room full of leaders, my mission is the same helping people discover they already have more in them than they realise.
If you’re here because you’re curious about training, coaching, or finding new opportunities, you’re in the right place.
I’ll meet you where you’re at. I’ll challenge you to see your own resilience. And I’ll equip you with the tools and confidence to step forward.
Because the truth is simple: the only failure is giving up.
And I’m here to make sure you don’t.
In an emergency, call 000.
Training complements but does not replace medical advice.
Doing something is better than doing nothing.
